Anthony's story

Anthony is in Year 10 and eventually wants to run his own business. With this in mind, he decided to take up the opportunity at his school to be involved in some young enterprise activities.

He took part in 'money wise', which was a day of activities focusing on how to manage your money. He is also taking part in a longer-term scheme called e-mentors which gives him direct and ongoing access to advice from local business people.

Anthony has enjoyed the practical enterprise activities, which have helped him to develop the skills that employers are looking for and that will be helpful for everyday life. He has also gained some evidence to demonstrate his skills and knowledge, which he can use to support his BTEC First Diploma in Business, which he is studying alongside his GCSEs.
