Researching the vocational route

Keiron's in Year 11 and wants to be a Police Community Support Officer. 'I want a job where I am not stuck behind a desk, but where I am out and about interacting with and helping people.'

Keiron's decided to stay in full-time education after he's done his GCSEs. He plans to study a BTEC National Diploma in Public Services in the sixth form. He's chosen this course as it will help him prepare for his chosen career. It also suits his learning style as it mixes classroom lessons with practical tasks. He thinks that it will motivate him to do well and help him to achieve a level 3 qualification.
