What you need to know

When you are studying you need to work out what works best for you.

What are the best ways to help you concentrate and what things can you do to improve your revision?

What you can do

  • Plan your revision carefully
  • Never leave your revision to the last minute
  • Find yourself a quiet place to work with no distractions
  • Write yourself good revision notes
  • Summarise different subjects onto cards and use them as revision guides
  • Take regular breaks and make sure you eat and sleep well
  • Try and plan your coursework projects carefully and make sure that you don't leave them until the last minute
  • Try testing yourself on old exam papers.
