Ideas of fun things to do

What you need to know

There are lots of opportunities for you to take up an interest or hobby that will get you out of the house, develop you skills and give you the chance to do something positive.

What you can do

There are loads of things you can do. Just a few examples of these are:

  • Volunteering - you could maybe help to tidy up a local park, or help out with a local scout or brownie group.
  • Joining a group - you could join your local history group or help run a local children's football team.
  • Taking up a new sport - you could try running, swimming or playing tennis. This is also a great way to help improve your fitness.
  • Take up a new hobby - this could be anything from playing music, walking to photography.
