I disagree with that really. I think that people should be told to wear school uniforms because, well for one thing, it makes it easier to choose what you are going to wear in the morning, but also because the people who come from poorer families might not be able to afford the latest trends. There is a lot of rivalry between kids at school depending on what they wear so it might be just easier in the long run to wear school uniforms.
